Teri Lynn O'Brien Memorial Scholarship
In recognition of her dedication to the students of CUSD and Dana Hills High School (DHHS PTSA President 2005-2007) and her strong commitment to education, her family and friends have established the Teri Lynn O'Brien memorial scholarship. A minimum $500 scholarship will be awarded to a graduating senior with financial need, a commitment to advancing their education, a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0, and who has demonstrated a commitment to their school and community through volunteer service. Recipients will be recommended by the academic advisors from those students who completed the “Local Scholarship Application” which are available from the DHHS Guidance Office.

California State PTA Scholarships

CUCPTSA Scholarships
The Capistrano Unified Council PTSA (CUCPTSA) maintains a scholarship fund to acknowledge deserving seniors in the areas of academics, community service and personal achievements, with an emphasis on community service. Beginning in 2017, CUCPTSA will fund one $500 scholarship for each district high school. Recipients will be chosen by the individual high school scholarship committees.

DHHS PTSA Scholarships
The Dana Hills High School PTSA Scholarship program recognizes the achievements of graduating DHHS seniors for volunteer service in the school and/or community. The minimum award will be $500. Eligible students must be a member of the DHHS PTSA by March 1, 2017 and have a minimum overall GPA of 2.0.
