Athletics Only Co-Counseling

Add-on Athletics Recruiting Services for IECs
I partner as a "co-counselor" with IECs who do not specialize in athletics recruiting, but want to offer athletics recruiting specialty services to their clients. IECs can easily add me to their existing client relationships using my co-counseling contract. I primarily work with IECs and families across the United States.

Working Together and Sharing Information
I utilize Google Drive and CounselMore (my online college counseling software) to manage my co-counseling clients. Each family gets a private Google Drive account which is also shared with their chosen IEC. After each meeting, I send my meeting notes by email to the family with a copy to the IEC so everyone is kept informed about how the process is progressing. The academic IEC is the "main counselor" in the relationship and I am considered an "add-on." 

HOW TO START THE PROCESS
Free 20 Minute Zoom Introduction
Families are welcome to book a FREE 20 minute Zoom call to get acquainted with me and my services. The IEC is welcome to join this call as well. The family adds the IEC as a "guest" when they book  the meeting. After this meeting, I will forward my co-counseling contract to the family. Once the family signs the contract, services are initiated. Families typically pay me directly.

Getting Started Package - $950 one-time payment
Approximately 5 hours. Payment due upon execution of contract.

• Initial Meeting with family – 1.5 hours
  • Review Priorities Analysis - The student completes a form covering academics, athletics, financial, social, and other elements of "fit"
  • Discuss needed materials for recruiting
• Deliver templates for Student-Athlete Profile (optional) and coach email for student to customize
• Discuss NCAA Eligibility Center, recruiting video, and social media – Any cost associated with these items are the responsibility of student-athlete’s family and not included in the above price
• College Fit will produce an initial recruiting list including coach contact information and deliver in spreadsheet format
• Student is responsible for sending email to college coaches
• One follow-up meeting (1-hour) to review all deliverables and explain the process for emailing coaches

Follow-up as Needed - $225 / hour
Families book approximately 5 follow-up meetings on average, but this varies depending on the needs of the client. Time is recorded on a ¼ hour basis. Hourly rate includes meeting time, preparation/research time, and phone calls. Invoice will be emailed from QuickBooks to client after each meeting.

Follow-up services may include:

• Learning how to do research on college athletic programs to prepare for a phone call with a coach
• Advice regarding communications with coaches
• Unofficial and Official Visits – How to prepare and get the most out of your visits
• Athletic Scholarships, verbal offers vs. signing a National Letter of Intent
• Making a final choice​
